Greetings from the Alabama Gulf Coast,
I am Pam Middleton Stein, a realtor with Dauphin Realty of Mobile, the largest independently owned real estate company in Mobile and Baldwin counties. I have a team comprised of a full time assistant, a buyer’s agent, and a great company that provides me with a lot of support. My designations are ABR (accredited buyers representative), CRS (certified residential specialist), GRI (graduate real estate institute), E-Pro, an internet/electronic designation and I recently obtained my associate brokers license.
Advertising: My undergraduate degree is in advertising and before going into real estate, I owned an advertising agency. I know advertising works and different products require different types of advertising media. I invest a minimum of 10% of my earnings in advertising for my business and listings, and keep abreast with changes in technology that can make me a better, more efficient agent. When I list a piece of property, it goes directly onto my Website, Dauphin Realty's website, in the newspaper, on the local real estate cable channel, and I send out 100 just listed cards to potential buyers, Youtube, VisualTour.com, Facebook and many more websites. . Currently, I have several hundred prospects interested in the GulfCoast area.
Accessibility: 90% of Realtors only work part time. I am one of the 10% who work full time. The most common complaint among sellers is, “I listed my property with my Realtor and I haven’t heard from or seen them since”. Dauphin Realty and I generate a Monthly Seller’s Progress Report which records all calls, showings, and marketing for each listing and is sent to each seller at the end of each month. I am always available on my cell phone and I check my email consistently throughout the. I have a fully equipped home office and an office at our Corporate office location on Dauphin Street in Midtown Mobile. We have an answering service that pages me with calls received after business hours, and we have an agent on call 7 days a week to assist with sales and listing information as well as a manager on call for assistance.
Commission: When it comes to commission rates many Realtors commonly avoid showing listing with lower commission rates because they feel like it is not worth the while. As long as you receive the amount you want from your property, a higher commission rate should not be a concern. A higher commission motivates more realtors to show and sell your property.
